......where to begin?

I have been putting off and putting off blogging because so much stuff has happened that I have no idea how to explain months of my little life.....

You missed my marriage..oops
You missed our 1 month anniversary...oops again
You missed every altercation that egged on the urge to move out....who wants to hear about that anyways (lol)

I have taken tests, applied for a new semester, got Jer into college, attended the first birthday of my besties baby, procrastinated with thank you notes, started drinking water like I should, got a lotts membership, started cooking....can I stop yet?

Well I will cuz I am boring myself trying to fill in the details. And I know this isn't the first time this has happened. (This probably won't be the last time either).

Of course if you are a facebook friend you have seen all of tha things happening in this married womans life. Well kind of, I can be discreet too.

So I will just put you up to speed starting with this week:

Actually today was the start of an epiphany-ROOMATES. Me and Kourt thought of sharing rent so we could move out faster and not be broke at the same time. I have thought of this before but me and Kourt haven't been in the same room with each other in what feels like weeks. We finally had lunch today (birthday lunch actually! Kourt hit tha big 22 :D) and we went and looked at a house together. I really hope this happens and soon!!! The house we looked at wasn't too great but Jer said he would look into some other ones.

My car is broken at tha momento...at least I think it is. Jer was having the radiator flushed and I haven't heard from him all day. Hope its all good. I just needed heat :(

I am officially tired of typing now so I will finish this up tomorrow. Peace and love compadres!

Wedding Things

So its about 3 weeks till the wedding (20 days if u wanna get super specific lol) and I am getting more nervous and even more excited. Idk what to do with myself honestly. Everything is in place to have the wedding. Things are paid for and we have decorations and the bridesmaid dresses :) the flowers, and the officiate, every detail is about complete. I think all that is left is the license. O.O

I am freaking out about that one because it is one step closer to me having my name changed. Karla Ferrero here I come lol. Me and Jer will probably get on that this week. I can't wait!!

One thing I am worrying about is how excited I am being. Usually when I get too excited about something, something never fails to go wrong or fall through. For example, everytime we go and look at a house that we could possibly get it doesnt happen and I am always gushing about how I cant wait to get the house and blah blah blah. Well I am scared something of the same nature will happen if I dont calm down about the wedding. I mean not us cancelling the wedding but the sky is the limit on all of the disastrous stuff that could happen. One of my smaller fears is giving in to the urge to pick my nose during the wedding lol. That would be so gross and I have the worst habit of doing that. The list goes on but I guess all I can do is hope for nothing better than the best.

Today we are headed to get my wedding band :) it has been in forever so we decided its now or never lol. I have had his for months woop woop go me. I am hoping me and him can go to our fave place to eat out when we go today. Hello OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE lol. It is all his fault that I love that place. Yum

October 8 will be here faster than ya kno, so I cant wait to see how it goes :) and I can't wait to see who shows up oooh lol. Chao dawlings!

Still On That Happy Note

I am too thrilled from this past weekend. It has put me in the best mood. I talked to mama and she told me how much she really liked the shower. I hadn't gotten to talk to her since then.Like I said before it was a blast and having mama there was the icing on the cake. Now to move on to bigger things like the wedding in three weeks and 5 days :)

Nicole got this awesome handmade sign with my soon-to-be last name on it for me and Jer when we get a house. Its extra country but when she showed it to me this morning I was so excited to get it. I absolutely love it and can't wait to use it, along with all of those wonderful kitchen items I got at the shower. Now to just get a freaking house.

Another thing that has me in a good mood is this book:
THE HUNGER GAMES

Nicole suggested it to me forever and a day ago and I have heard about it and a movie coming out about it. I just wasn't interested and Nicole had the books hidden away so I never had them to read in the first place. Well I finally did start the book and believe me it is a good one. Well it's my kind of book anyways. It was so good I got to page 142 on the first go. My eyes were glued to that book. And I am not saying it is the best book in the universe or anything, it is just something very interestingly good to read.

On to other tales, I am actually at school writing this on a computer. That is why it may seem like a longer entry than usual. This is far more easier that using my thumbs. Today is my long day and I am stuck here at Navarro til around 5:30 or sooner if the teacher is feeling generous...probably not though lol. Been here since 8 so far and man is it boring when your up here by yourself.

On a postively awesome note, I finished all of my thank you cards. So everyone I saw on Saturday, check ya mail lol. Sending em out today woo hoo!chao for now fellas, I guess I could study...or something.

Amazing!!

Yesterday was the best day! Why might you ask?! Because it was the day of my bridal shower silly.

Ah September 10th was the day a few of the ladies in my life came to celebrate me getting married. The games were fun and everyone participated which I didn't expect. Yes even mama did the games too, she was actually one of the models for the toilet paper dress game o.O It was fun to see who knew the most about the bride (too bad i cant remember who won that one) and seeing who put their elbows on the tables cuz if you did you would get ur safety pin taken away. Brittany was like a ninja on that game, she caught everybody lol even me!

Not alot of people showed up which was a bummer but we still had fun. My homies Danyale and Shannon came and I have known them practically my whole life. I hardly see them now what with grown up life and busyness goin on. Samantha came and was so quiet but she was glad to have come, I was super glad cuz i hardly see her either. Everyone else was either fam from jers side or mine and the bridal party. Alyssa was even there, she was extra excited to be apart of decorating and she had soooo much to say to me and everyone else lol.

It started at 11 and ended at 2ish which was not expected either. Cuz afterwards me and the ladies had to go to dallas for bridesmaid dresses. Fun times having to be at the bridal place before six. We were in such a hurry but made it there in plenty of time woo hoo. Now we just have kourts dress to get and we will be done with dallas whew.

Everyone was saying how they cant wait til its over so they can have money again lol. I feel broke mahself. But I was like it will be over before yall know it. My shower was over in the blink of an eye to me, one second we are having fun at the shower, the next second its sunday afternoon and I am writing this blog. Time slows for nothing. Not even special occasiobs. Thats some fine print for ya lol.

On The First Day of College

Yesterday was a loong day. Not alot of people go to the first day of school at navarro because its just a day for the teachers to explain the same syllabus in every class. But I am certainly not using my one skip day we get on the very first day. It would be my luck I get ultra sick or something and I need it.

Anywho I like my teachers so far. Mrs Stottman (my anatomy teacher) is really nice and keeps it interesting in the classroom. This is her first time teaching in texas, she is from Los Angeles ooh. She doesn't sound at all like us Texans, all southern and mess. She is super nice and seems like she will be super helpful when I need help with something. I forgot my art teachers name but she is cool too. Not as cool as mrs Stottman though lol. I have yet to meet my Nutrition teacher. But we will get well aquainted on thurs in his/her three hour class.

What made my day so long, however, was the three hour wait in the bookstore to get my books. I get out of art at 11 and had lab at 2, so I had plans to mess with our invitations so we could finally send them off, and maybe eat too. I did need my books though so I went to the bookstore first and ended up sitting there for my entire break between classes. If it weren't for the friendly peeps around me chit chatting it up I would have left that place after an hour of waiting. By the end my wait I had fifteen minutes to maybe eat and get to my lab class. I was super hungry on the way home when it was all said and done. Sweety mrs stottman let us out 20 minutes early so there was my save of the day.

Can't wait to go back tomorrow, but I won't be going anywhere near the bookstore for a while.

Everything Is Bigger In Texas

I always think of how I sound, like high and whinny when I'm sad or not understandable when I am excited or tryin to tell something funny. What I notice the most is my horrible accent that I acquired from living in this god forsaken state since birth. I honestly don't like texas because I have been here too long and its always either too hot or too cold and from what I have heard about Michigan and other states, Texas is quite boring. But thats not what I wanted to rant about.

Why and how did Texans gain an accent? I know people sound different from different states but how did ours get so drawly and lazy. I constantly use words like ya'll but I draw the line at howdy and yonder. I refuse to use those worda only because it seems so freaking tacky. I think howdy was supposed to be 'how do you do' before a cowboy remixed that phrase. I can't think of where yonder came from.....

Lucky me some people can't hear my accent. I'm thinking they must be hard of hearing because it's there believe me. One woman asked if I was from an island because how I talked, another thought I was from washington..strange because I have only left this state once to visit good old Florida last summer for a week. No chance of me being from anywhere else.

Idk, I guess I just wanted to complain about being southern with an accent blah blah. The accent I do love and wish I had was the australian brand lol. Omg Ryan Kwanten from true blood has an awesome accent in real life. I could listen to those peeps talk all freaking day. Especially him what with the hotness factor and all.

My Last Couple Of Days

Long time no see, actually its only been a few days so I wont be too harsh on myself for not being consistant..this time.

Things are beginning to wrap up for the wedding preparations. Tomorrow is the six week mark and invitations are about to go out :)!! How exciting. Now on our list of things to do is getting our marriage license and paying the rest on the cake and judge. Then later we are paying the rest on the hall woo hoo, I heart progress as I feel like I have said before.

Other than wedding things, yesterday I finally got to see Alyssa at school. I visited her for lunch time and me, her and Fran munched on McDonalds for the alotted fifteen minutes the first graders had to eat. All the kids in her class have gotten so much bigger or taller since the last time I saw them in Kindergarten, I was like wow I don't remember being that tall when I was 6. It was fun hanging with my little buddy, watching all the younger, and older, kids run around screaming and laughing and playing while the teachers tried their hardest at gaining order in the lunchroom. Well it wasn't that bad but there was some screaming and even crying. Crazy kids. Even Alyssa could barely sit still while eat and "quietly" talking to everyone around her. I sware every kid in her grade is her friend, my buddy is a bit too popular.

My week hasn't been chaulk full of endeavers yet but when school starts I bet I will have tons to talk about. Actually thats a lie cuz I have been busy with wedding related stuff but I will get into that later. Chao for now peepz!

Alone At Last

So I started my list of favorites that mentioned yesterday and here is some of it that i figured i wanted to share with who ever reads this silly blog:

I am in love with purple now. I have kicked the color blue to the curb officially lol.

For some strange reason I heart trash tv so Jersey Shore is right up my alley. Then there is True Blood (helllooo Eric).

Just to be random, my favorite skittle flavors are Tropical Blend (especially poured in my blue icee) and Crazy Core! Yumm

4-place to eat with tha fiance
Outback Steak House! It is always our first choice when we are in the city somewhere. Taco Bell when we are bein cheap lol.

5-Clothing Brand
Aeropostale(cheap), Roxy(not so cheap), and anything from Rue 21

6-Car
Mazda RX 8 has been my favorite forever.

7-Phone
The IPhone 4 is my fave though I have yet to even touch one. They jus look amazing.

8-Gum
Anything Minty or 5 gum is my weapon of choice

9-Makeup
I absolutely love Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer. You can barely tell when I wear it and it covers mah dark spots extra well. Aand it doesnt make me look greasy in pics bleh. I also love any nude shimmery eyeshadow. Ooh.

10-Energy Drink
Monster(Assault) and Rockstar(Juiced Guava). They are both fruity so yummo lol.

I figure ten is a good stopping point. That is barely half of the list I thought up honestly.

Other than that awesomely amazing list that I jus HAD to share with you, today me and Jer are going to attempt to take pictures. I'm excited except this will be the third attempt so I am crossing my fingers that it will happen.

My thumbs are tired so Imma leave it at that. I blog from my phone if you were wondering lol. The smart phone was an amzing invention. Who ever made the first one needs a pat on the back.

When Life Gives You Lemons...

I was watching Forgetting Sarah Marshall last night and that saying cracked me up: (when life gives you lemons, just say fuck the lemons and bail!) ha, that stupid chuck guy was serious when he said that lol. That was my favorite movie for forever, now there is no single movie that is my favorite. Too many to choose from honestly.

Thats a fun idea, making a list of all of my favorite things. And not just the basic favorite color or tv show kind of things. Stuff like, favorite toothpaste and movie theater. There are a lot of things that I like. We will see how this goes.

Well while I was laughing hysterically and saying every funny line to that movie last night, my little buddy Alyssa was sleeping down the hall. Hopefully I didnt keep her up or anything because this morning she had to get up for school. Yay first day of school where everyone is fresh dressed like a million bucks and teachers don't know their classes well enough to have favorites. We all know teachers have at least one favorite in the class. I was never one of them believe me lol. Anywho today I am extra excited for my buddy and can't wait to hear how her day went. I told her since there won't be a nap time anymore, she will be tired when she gets home. Of course she doesn't believe me so I was like just watch. It would be funny if she proved me wrong though.

Alyssa actually asked me for advice the other day. She is so grown up for a six year old I sware. In the Walmart parking lot she asked me why people walked away from her when she talked to them sometimes and what should she do about it. I just let her know that some people are rude and some are actually busy doing things that are keeping them from paying attention, so if they won't listen find someone else who will. She was like, I hope that works. I felt extra special that she asked me that in the first place, but it made me think how smart she is and I think its amazing that she knows to ask stuff like this instead of being crazy and wild without a care in the world like other kids.

She is even concerned about not having ENOUGH friends at school lol. I was like how many do you need haha. She can be a silly little person too but I love her to death.

I gotta go to school myself today myself. I'm ready to start already though. I'm jus doing registration stuff this visit. Woo hoo, funtimes. Chao for now peeps!

Last Days of Break

It was so nice on my two days off. I spent a lot of time with my new car :). Huge hugs and thanks to Jer on my awesome 03 Bonneville. Me and Jer did some stuff out in Waco one day, and hung out with family the next day. I loove having two days off in a row. I always say it's like a mini vacay. But I can forget that next week.

School starts next week and I will always need mondays off now and who knows what other day the boss lady will give me. It sucks but I gotta get this done.

I'm excited about school starting but I am not too thrilled about the work Imma have to do towards it. We went to wal-mart yesterday and with it being tax free weekend peeps were all over the school supplies. I needed a few things mahself and I heart the smell of new school things like paper and binders and pencils Oh My lol. It's funny cuz the smell of glue and Sticky Tac (if u remember that stuff lol) makes me think of kindergarten. Those were the good ol days, especially since we got to take naps haha.

Speaking of Kindergarten, Alyssa has graduated into the first grade and tomorrow is her first day yaay! She is so excited and so am I for her. I got her an angry bird keychain to go on her backpack as a cute going back to school gift. Of course she loved it. She is as addicted to angry birds as I am lol. Too bad I work in the morning because I would love to go with her on her first day. But duty calls bleh!

Well I guess I will catch you on the flip side. Morning shift is the name of the game today. Oh and I saw 30 Minutes or Less and I laughed so hard haha just to randomly throw that in there lol.

Past Thoughts

So a group of athletic high school girls came into my store today. I was thinking, "awesome a bus"! I could go on and on with all of the reasons why I don't like a massive group of people in here all at once blah blah.

Anywho, seeing those chicks reminded me of when I was in high school where the closest I had gotten to being in athletics was being in P.E. which i hated with a passion. I didn't play a single sport for my school. But there was a good reason for that: I'm not the most coordinated person really. I remember taking tests and somehow my pen/pencil would fall out of my hand numerous times. I practically walked the mile we had to do twice a year in gym, and games like dodgeball weren't my strong suits lol.

So I took art to "express myself". I can't remember who told me that but when they did I was like okaay can I go to class now lol. I do remember band being an option too and I was antsy to play the clarinet in jr high. My dad shut that down quick though for his own reasons that I never understood. I didn't let that go for a while.

Well here I am, future me. Still not athletic and not striving for anything artsy as a career. But I am getting a jump on starting a family (first step being marriage )and getting a degree. We will see how it goes from there. Til then yay me :)

A Little Time Wit The Sis-In-Law

Had a fun day yesterday with Nicole out in Palestine. Well after work I did. Me training the newbie was switched to me working morning shift alone so I had the afternoon off (my favorite part about working morning shift). So Nicole invited me to hang with her for the rest of the day. Woop woop!

Me and sissy went out to shop for clothes for her, school shoppin I guess you would call it. Rue 21 just wasn't hitting it like it usually does. But she bought a few things and I tried on a maxi dress that made me look like my eggo was preggo.

Afterwards there was the dollar tree where we found awesome centerpiece vases and water beads to go in them. I was amazed how everything was only a dollar in that place ha! We even found some fun prizes for the shower lol but we decided to wait on those since we were low on funds. Aand I have to remember that I have a car to pay for and to put gas in now so yeah lol.

Cici's was our final stop! Of course we had to eat btw, i can barely go 3 hours without putting something in my mouth lol. While we were there a little kid spilled their drink right next to where we were sitting and it went all down my leg and into my shoe! Awesome ending to our afternoon I have to say. The kid was itty bitty so it wasn't a prob. In my mind I was like Nooooooo, now my left sock will feel like i been stompin in puddles or something!! Lol.

Chit chatting it up with Nicole was fun. We were cracking up the whole way back home. Hope we do it again sometime :)

Excuse Me?

I actually just have a question this early Tuesday morning..is it rude to ask someone if they are gay?

I have never asked anyone that I assumed was homosexual if they were or not until yesterday. You would think it would be obvious by seeing how someone acts or talks or whatever but thats stereotyping right? I mean I have mistaken straight guys for gay before and felt extra dumb for it when I was proven wrong so I figure its safer to assume everyone is straight until they say otherwise lol.

That doesnt really make since but yesterday, my trainee and I were talking about it and I felt so horrible asking if he was gay or not. It doesnt bother me whether he was gay or straight (being homophobic isnt necessary, they are people too) but questioning someones sexuality just seems rude. He is and he told me that it didn't bother him when people asked, lucky me. Would have sucked if he got overly defensive and put me in my place for asking eep!

After that convo last night it made me wonder if anyone else thought it to be rude to assume or ask someone if they are gay? Then I wondered, is it really that big of a deal Karla gah! Lol I think too hard on tha littlest stuff I sware haha.

Sleepy? Tired? All of the above?

Three in a row, I would say I'm on a roll lol.

Today has been slow, tiring, and exciting all at the same time! I was super awake this morning early, all pumped up to go to school and register for classes which I did. It took FOREVER though. Getting the classes to fit my schedule at work was a challenge but I fixed it up as best as I could.

Afterwards was me coming to work which has been a bore so far. I'm training which involves me jus sitting on my arse watching tha new guy do everything. He has it down, why I'm here is beyond me lol.

One more thing happened tho. I got a car!!!!! Not to get to excited or anything but I am so glad I have a way around without having to worry whether Jer needs the car or has the car or has to b back at a certain time to pick me up. To be honest it's actually for both of us. He totally put down that down payment and he is gonna help me pay for it so it makes since that we share. But he has his mustang and I'm going to school in this one. Oh it's some kind of a 2003 pontiac type car. I only got to see it for like 10 min and it was taken to the house so yeah. Now for the fun stuff (insurance, and technical mess, bleh!)

FWB's say whaaa

I am borderline obssessed with that movie that mimics No Strings Attached lol! I thought it was extra funny when I saw it the other day. And at the same time it was so sentimental. Justin Timberlake isnt the best actor in the world but he is funny tho especially with Mila Kunis ha!

After watching Friends With Benefits I downloaded that song that JT sings in the commercials (and its definitely NOT third eye blind either lmao) You hear it alot in the movie, and now its stuck in my head lol.

Me and Samantha and her friend\relative? went and saw it together randomly. Now me and jer are making plans to see The Change Up and 30 Minutes Or Less soon. They better be good lol.

psh outta NO WHERE!

So if i have anybody following my blogs, I suck at being consistant don't ya think. Eh, here lately I have been pretty lazy towards texting (ask mah home slices), updating status' via facebook, and socializing period. It's almost like I am slowly disappearing from the social networking world. Don't get me wrong, I love throwing out random bits of my business out there but at present I just don't feeell like it lol.

To catch you up (like always) as of today the wedding is exactly 56 days away!!! Holy crap-ola Imma be Mrs. Ferrero befor I know it!. Thats only seven weeks and some change to get everything together and paid for. Lucky for us we have been putting it in high gear and getting things done like flowers and invitations, even the tuxes and bridesmaid dresses are done. Everyday that passes I get a little more excited and a teensy more nervous. I can't wait honestly!

Other than wedding things, me and Jer have been in search of a place to live. We have looked at a handful of places and nothing yet. And its not that we didnt like them, it was the cost and our credit that always seemed to get in the way. Renting is our only option for now but all we have on our mind at the moment is getting things done for the fast approaching wedding.

Blah blah blah wedding wedding wedding its all I talk about I sware. I can't wait to see how my blogs will sound after it is all said and done.

New Music Up

So the past couple of days didn't go totally as planned. For one we did not step a toe near the church and flowers and cake tasting had to be postponed due to schedules and such.

So now I am hoping to at least have my wedding dress in the town of ff by Saturday afternoon. Me and the girlies have a change of plan since Kass' bday is next weekend...not in June like my dumb self wrote in another post. Instead of Dress shopping for the wedding we are just going to the mall to prepare for next weekend. No one has the mula for a bridesmaids dress anywho so we are keeping it cheap and just hanging out really. I'm excited as usual.

I am so used to saying girlies but I have to remember we are ladies now, not high school drama queens or freshman 15's lol. So the Ladies and I are finally doing our thing like we used to. I honestly don't see how we found the time to hang all of the time what with work and all that nonsense. But we did. It's hard now because we are all in different situations like me working in the afternoons all of the time and Kourt visiting her bf all the way in Waco along with working. And we can't forget little Jensen hogging momma Kassie while she does school aaand work lol. Lives change I know but I still like hanging out every once in a while, which are moment will be here in a couple of days.

Just to mention what I had planned on blogging about I am finally in the mood to find more music. Anything from Rap to screamo will do me. Bass seems to be my favorite thing to hear lately. I just got the song Twisted by Lil Jon and Gorilla Zoe and More than Alive by The Ready Set. My fave is this Day to Remember song called All I Want. None of the stuff I get is extra new or anything (Like this super old I Love Rock and Roll by Joan Jett_Love her version btw. The original rox lol) but it's new to me and I am really wanting more more more.

Addicted to listening to music, what can I say??

Boom Goes the Dynamite

Hello world..friends..fam? Who is reading this stuff anyways lol?

So my day started at 7:30 this morning officially. I had to be at work 5 hours earlier than usual. I have complained enough about that all day to Jer so I will skip that part and get right to what made my day 'perfect'...and when I say perfect, I mean lousy lol.

I think the fates are trying to tell me something because when I went to find something in the pocket of my purse where all of my take-with-me makeup was, I found the contents of the pocket covered in my liquid makeup: c8 in L'oreal True Match Super-Blendable Makeup! It was so gross and my genius self tried to use soap and water to get it off of my other makeup stuff which actually made the situation worse. I finally just used napkins which worked fairly well. The remains of that makeup is down the drain. I bet it only has a drop left in it. And my poor playboy bunny purse is destined for the washing machine now after this tragic scene. I used soap and water on tha goopy residue left over and now it is sitting on a fan drying. How ghetto ugh lol.

Jer always says I don't need makeup, well this is a horrible way of telling me I don't need it as far as karma goes lol. I'm not as torn up about it as I was an hour ago. I told Kourt I'm so replacing my dirty makeup. I don't like my stuff looking dirty and gross. I might not be as neat as the next person but I don't like dirty. It ain't cute.

Other than that nothing of significance occured today except for knowledge of the warped tour that has the majority of all of my fave bands playing. Chris tells me these things and then him and Jer make plans to go. But I am probably gonna be with the girls that weekend. It is in June and Kass turns the big 21 around that time. It's gravy though. There are other warped tours. You only turn 21 once lol.

Happy Friday Friends

So the weekend is about to start and Karla dearest has to work. But its cool, can't make money sitting at the house right? I have about an hour til I get my fanny to work actually but I figured I would blog really quick. I'm actually doing it from my phone because this ditz left her computer at home. And I do homework on it too so Imma have to skip out today waah.

Yesterday was a well deserved day off. I got to be outside like I always want to be when the weather is nice. I saw momma and madea in the afternoon and they were very happy to see little old me. We always have something to chit chat about when I come over. I stayed for more than 15 minutes like my usual visits lol. Mama was so sure that I would be rushing out the door after I had been there a few minutes lol. I love to see mama smile :)

I was actually home for dinner with mah white family for the first time in forever. It was nice to sit around the table and eat with everybody. I even got to make this yummy dessert that was like a mix of brownies and cookies. Never had it before, but I know I will definitely be having it again sometime.

After all this time with myself and my fam and jer's fam, me and him spent some time together :) We watched Fast and Furious just to prepare us for monday when we see the Fast Five movie. Watching movies is what me and Jer do best together lol. It was nice to hang with my hunny at the end of the day though.

Now we shall see how my mothers day weekend will go lol still gotta get the moms a present lol
