Alone At Last

So I started my list of favorites that mentioned yesterday and here is some of it that i figured i wanted to share with who ever reads this silly blog:

1-color
I am in love with purple now. I have kicked the color blue to the curb officially lol.

2-tv show
For some strange reason I heart trash tv so Jersey Shore is right up my alley. Then there is True Blood (helllooo Eric).

3-Skittles
Just to be random, my favorite skittle flavors are Tropical Blend (especially poured in my blue icee) and Crazy Core! Yumm

4-place to eat with tha fiance
Outback Steak House! It is always our first choice when we are in the city somewhere. Taco Bell when we are bein cheap lol.

5-Clothing Brand
Aeropostale(cheap), Roxy(not so cheap), and anything from Rue 21

6-Car
Mazda RX 8 has been my favorite forever.

7-Phone
The IPhone 4 is my fave though I have yet to even touch one. They jus look amazing.

8-Gum
Anything Minty or 5 gum is my weapon of choice

9-Makeup
I absolutely love Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer. You can barely tell when I wear it and it covers mah dark spots extra well. Aand it doesnt make me look greasy in pics bleh. I also love any nude shimmery eyeshadow. Ooh.

10-Energy Drink
Monster(Assault) and Rockstar(Juiced Guava). They are both fruity so yummo lol.

I figure ten is a good stopping point. That is barely half of the list I thought up honestly.

Other than that awesomely amazing list that I jus HAD to share with you, today me and Jer are going to attempt to take pictures. I'm excited except this will be the third attempt so I am crossing my fingers that it will happen.

My thumbs are tired so Imma leave it at that. I blog from my phone if you were wondering lol. The smart phone was an amzing invention. Who ever made the first one needs a pat on the back.

When Life Gives You Lemons...

I was watching Forgetting Sarah Marshall last night and that saying cracked me up: (when life gives you lemons, just say fuck the lemons and bail!) ha, that stupid chuck guy was serious when he said that lol. That was my favorite movie for forever, now there is no single movie that is my favorite. Too many to choose from honestly.

Thats a fun idea, making a list of all of my favorite things. And not just the basic favorite color or tv show kind of things. Stuff like, favorite toothpaste and movie theater. There are a lot of things that I like. We will see how this goes.

Well while I was laughing hysterically and saying every funny line to that movie last night, my little buddy Alyssa was sleeping down the hall. Hopefully I didnt keep her up or anything because this morning she had to get up for school. Yay first day of school where everyone is fresh dressed like a million bucks and teachers don't know their classes well enough to have favorites. We all know teachers have at least one favorite in the class. I was never one of them believe me lol. Anywho today I am extra excited for my buddy and can't wait to hear how her day went. I told her since there won't be a nap time anymore, she will be tired when she gets home. Of course she doesn't believe me so I was like just watch. It would be funny if she proved me wrong though.

Alyssa actually asked me for advice the other day. She is so grown up for a six year old I sware. In the Walmart parking lot she asked me why people walked away from her when she talked to them sometimes and what should she do about it. I just let her know that some people are rude and some are actually busy doing things that are keeping them from paying attention, so if they won't listen find someone else who will. She was like, I hope that works. I felt extra special that she asked me that in the first place, but it made me think how smart she is and I think its amazing that she knows to ask stuff like this instead of being crazy and wild without a care in the world like other kids.

She is even concerned about not having ENOUGH friends at school lol. I was like how many do you need haha. She can be a silly little person too but I love her to death.

I gotta go to school myself today myself. I'm ready to start already though. I'm jus doing registration stuff this visit. Woo hoo, funtimes. Chao for now peeps!

Last Days of Break

It was so nice on my two days off. I spent a lot of time with my new car :). Huge hugs and thanks to Jer on my awesome 03 Bonneville. Me and Jer did some stuff out in Waco one day, and hung out with family the next day. I loove having two days off in a row. I always say it's like a mini vacay. But I can forget that next week.

School starts next week and I will always need mondays off now and who knows what other day the boss lady will give me. It sucks but I gotta get this done.

I'm excited about school starting but I am not too thrilled about the work Imma have to do towards it. We went to wal-mart yesterday and with it being tax free weekend peeps were all over the school supplies. I needed a few things mahself and I heart the smell of new school things like paper and binders and pencils Oh My lol. It's funny cuz the smell of glue and Sticky Tac (if u remember that stuff lol) makes me think of kindergarten. Those were the good ol days, especially since we got to take naps haha.

Speaking of Kindergarten, Alyssa has graduated into the first grade and tomorrow is her first day yaay! She is so excited and so am I for her. I got her an angry bird keychain to go on her backpack as a cute going back to school gift. Of course she loved it. She is as addicted to angry birds as I am lol. Too bad I work in the morning because I would love to go with her on her first day. But duty calls bleh!

Well I guess I will catch you on the flip side. Morning shift is the name of the game today. Oh and I saw 30 Minutes or Less and I laughed so hard haha just to randomly throw that in there lol.

Past Thoughts

So a group of athletic high school girls came into my store today. I was thinking, "awesome a bus"! I could go on and on with all of the reasons why I don't like a massive group of people in here all at once blah blah.

Anywho, seeing those chicks reminded me of when I was in high school where the closest I had gotten to being in athletics was being in P.E. which i hated with a passion. I didn't play a single sport for my school. But there was a good reason for that: I'm not the most coordinated person really. I remember taking tests and somehow my pen/pencil would fall out of my hand numerous times. I practically walked the mile we had to do twice a year in gym, and games like dodgeball weren't my strong suits lol.

So I took art to "express myself". I can't remember who told me that but when they did I was like okaay can I go to class now lol. I do remember band being an option too and I was antsy to play the clarinet in jr high. My dad shut that down quick though for his own reasons that I never understood. I didn't let that go for a while.

Well here I am, future me. Still not athletic and not striving for anything artsy as a career. But I am getting a jump on starting a family (first step being marriage )and getting a degree. We will see how it goes from there. Til then yay me :)

A Little Time Wit The Sis-In-Law

Had a fun day yesterday with Nicole out in Palestine. Well after work I did. Me training the newbie was switched to me working morning shift alone so I had the afternoon off (my favorite part about working morning shift). So Nicole invited me to hang with her for the rest of the day. Woop woop!

Me and sissy went out to shop for clothes for her, school shoppin I guess you would call it. Rue 21 just wasn't hitting it like it usually does. But she bought a few things and I tried on a maxi dress that made me look like my eggo was preggo.

Afterwards there was the dollar tree where we found awesome centerpiece vases and water beads to go in them. I was amazed how everything was only a dollar in that place ha! We even found some fun prizes for the shower lol but we decided to wait on those since we were low on funds. Aand I have to remember that I have a car to pay for and to put gas in now so yeah lol.

Cici's was our final stop! Of course we had to eat btw, i can barely go 3 hours without putting something in my mouth lol. While we were there a little kid spilled their drink right next to where we were sitting and it went all down my leg and into my shoe! Awesome ending to our afternoon I have to say. The kid was itty bitty so it wasn't a prob. In my mind I was like Nooooooo, now my left sock will feel like i been stompin in puddles or something!! Lol.

Chit chatting it up with Nicole was fun. We were cracking up the whole way back home. Hope we do it again sometime :)

Excuse Me?

I actually just have a question this early Tuesday morning..is it rude to ask someone if they are gay?

I have never asked anyone that I assumed was homosexual if they were or not until yesterday. You would think it would be obvious by seeing how someone acts or talks or whatever but thats stereotyping right? I mean I have mistaken straight guys for gay before and felt extra dumb for it when I was proven wrong so I figure its safer to assume everyone is straight until they say otherwise lol.

That doesnt really make since but yesterday, my trainee and I were talking about it and I felt so horrible asking if he was gay or not. It doesnt bother me whether he was gay or straight (being homophobic isnt necessary, they are people too) but questioning someones sexuality just seems rude. He is and he told me that it didn't bother him when people asked, lucky me. Would have sucked if he got overly defensive and put me in my place for asking eep!

After that convo last night it made me wonder if anyone else thought it to be rude to assume or ask someone if they are gay? Then I wondered, is it really that big of a deal Karla gah! Lol I think too hard on tha littlest stuff I sware haha.

Sleepy? Tired? All of the above?

Three in a row, I would say I'm on a roll lol.

Today has been slow, tiring, and exciting all at the same time! I was super awake this morning early, all pumped up to go to school and register for classes which I did. It took FOREVER though. Getting the classes to fit my schedule at work was a challenge but I fixed it up as best as I could.

Afterwards was me coming to work which has been a bore so far. I'm training which involves me jus sitting on my arse watching tha new guy do everything. He has it down, why I'm here is beyond me lol.

One more thing happened tho. I got a car!!!!! Not to get to excited or anything but I am so glad I have a way around without having to worry whether Jer needs the car or has the car or has to b back at a certain time to pick me up. To be honest it's actually for both of us. He totally put down that down payment and he is gonna help me pay for it so it makes since that we share. But he has his mustang and I'm going to school in this one. Oh it's some kind of a 2003 pontiac type car. I only got to see it for like 10 min and it was taken to the house so yeah. Now for the fun stuff (insurance, and technical mess, bleh!)
